When selecting an antler lighting fixture, begin with your space.
Antler Type
We primarily work with:
-
Mule deer
-
Whitetail deer
-
Elk
Occasionally available: fallow deer and moose.
Custom designs may incorporate elements such as wagon wheels, reclaimed wood, snowshoes, or other rustic materials upon request.
Key Planning Questions
Before ordering, consider:
-
What are the room dimensions?
-
What is the ceiling height?
-
Is this the primary light source or supplemental lighting?
-
Will it hang over a table or in an open walk-through area?
-
What candle sleeve style and finish do you prefer?
-
What chain length is required?
-
What is the largest doorway for delivery and installation?
Proper scale matters. A fixture that’s too large can overwhelm a space. One that’s too small can feel lost in rooms with high ceilings or open floor plans.
We recommend creating a simple mock-up using cardboard boxes taped together to approximate the fixture size. Hold it in place and view the scale from multiple angles before finalizing your order.

Candle Sleeves
We offer copper and oil-rubbed bronze candle sleeves to complement our antler chandeliers, pendants, and sconces.
Copper adds warmth and handcrafted character.
Oil-rubbed bronze delivers a deeper, heritage-inspired tone.
Both options enhance rustic, lodge, and mountain-style interiors.
Antler Candle Covers
Designed specifically for antler lighting fixtures, our candle covers create a cohesive and natural presentation.
Available finishes:
-
Natural Brown – Preserves authentic antler tone and texture.
-
Greywash – Softened tone for mountain-modern spaces.
-
Whitewash – Lighter, elevated rustic aesthetic.
-
Black – Bold contrast for modern rustic interiors.
Downlight Option
Select chandeliers feature integrated mini flood downlights in oil-rubbed bronze sockets for added task lighting and brightness. Custom socket finishes are available upon request.
Finish Profiles
Natural Brown highlights the organic character of the antler and complements traditional rustic and chalet-style homes.
Whitewashed & Greywashed finishes offer a brighter, more refined interpretation of rustic design suited for upscale lodge and mountain-modern interiors.
A fly press is a type of screw press machine used to shape metal by deforming it with punches and dies. The screw press was invented by the Romans in the first century A.D. primarily used for wine & olive oil production. Later used as a printing press in the mid-15th century. The French started using the screw press for stamping coins for the mint. Over time it became an invaluable tool for a variety of metal working applications. During the 1920’s a number of factories sprung up in the Midlands producing fly presses as we now know them. Blacksmiths started to use them, once they realized the versatility of this tool. Manufacturers in Rhode Island sadly closed their doors approximately 50 years ago. In the UK all but one manufacturer closed their doors around this time. Norton fly presses are still made to this day, as there is still a demand for this old technology. A lot of these older presses built in the last century are still in circulation today and are still in good shape. With a little maintenance they should offer many more years of service because they are a viable, robust, versatile piece of shop equipment.
